Welcome to Keepsakes From My Sewing Room's first Blog Letter. Each Blog Letter will be a combination of Keepsakes shares, what I have been up to and some behind the scenes sneak peaks of what it is like running a handmade business around three children. This week I had great fun being a guest blogger over on the amazing parenting blog 'Oh So Amelia'. Click on the link below to find out a bit more about me and how Keepsakes From My Sewing Room came about:

Keepsake Shares

Each Blogletter I'll share some of the amazing Keepsakes that have just made it home. Don't forget to click 'following' on the Facebook page to make sure you see each creation in all its glory

Monkey and 4 Patch Cushion Set

The vibrant colours of the clothes used made an incredible Monkey and 4 Patch Set. It was doubly nice as I remember getting a sleepy newborn cuddle from the original wearer when he wore some of this.

Giraffe Keepsake

This beautifully girly Giraffe was made using THE cutest sleepsuits. I just love the faces of the Giraffe Keepsakes. Each Keepsake is completely unique and as such every Keepsake quickly develops it's own personality.

Puppy Dog Keepsake

After making a Lion from this little boy's newborn clothes it was so much fun seeing how quickly he has grown while making this gorgeous Puppy from his 0-3 month clothes.

My Keepsake Family

If you follow me on instagram @keepsakesfrommysewingroom you will have met my 'Keepsakes' before but if not here they are in all their crazy glory:
Isaac has just turned 9 (I know, I know, I don't look old enough *covers ears with hand to block out the protestations that I most definitely do*). He is computer mad, talks a language I don't understand half the time, NEVER knows where his shoes are and is a very gentle, caring and sensitive soul (he will KILL me for that but he is!).

Lennox is 6 and constantly disappointed that he isn't 17. He loves animals, sport, really tricky puzzles and winding his siblings up. He is developing a wicked sense of humour and thankfully always knows where everyone's shoes are!

Dotty is 3 and is very much the baby of our family (she is due to start school in September, will be the youngest in her year and I predict we will ALL cry!). She is very much the younger sister of two big brothers. She loves dirt, bikes, shooting people, bossing boys about but most definitely does not like getting her hair wet, brushed, washed or anyone even so much as looking at it!

Is three the magic number? I have no idea, but it works for us.

And the winner is........

Thanks to everyone who entered the Giveaway, I was truly blown away by the amazing response. I put every name (yes, ALL 716) into a numbered list and used a random number generator to draw the winner.

Drum roll please...........and the winner is............. Catherine (Kat) Ellis. Congratulations, please message me and we can get organised. I will share pictures once the Keepsake is created and home with Catherine.

Keep your eye out for future Blog Letters as I will always advertise special offers, giveaways, new designs etc through here. It might be worth adding me to your email contacts so it never gets lost in the dreaded Spam folder.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. If you have any comments, questions, ideas or would like more information on any of the Keepsakes I'd love to hear from you. I can be contacted via any of the links below
